Sales COO, Business Manager

The Role Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Implement the overall support structure agenda for the FM Corporate Sales business, and work with business heads to define priorities and goals for the different functions. Ensure high awareness of Corporate Sales strategy across organisation
  • Execute digitisation strategy. Unlock our ability to scale via end to end digitisation and optimised product offering and distribution to clients
  • Improve sales productivity and efficiency by helping to drive an automation and standardisation agenda
  • Improve client experience via better services. Responsible for solution finding of Corporate client pain points and the end to end execution of solving issues
  • Ensure the Bank is compliant with all new trading regulations by overseeing and supporting the execution of Regulatory programmes as they apply to FM Corporate Sales
  • Support business in executing global strategy in the regions and globalising regional business via various network and corridor initiatives
  • Support all regulatory reform Programme and ensure that all risks and issues are properly highlighted and addressed and that a high standard of governance and delivery is achieved in FM Sales
  • Support and guide Corporate Sales Management team to execute their responsibilities in managing non-Financial risks
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct
Business
  • Client and Data Analytics. Support the analysis of identifying wallets and client prospect/account management. Enable building of future data analytics workflow
  • Support defining and execution of Corporate Sales strategy and present Corporate Sales QPR on various forums
  • Execute plans to reduce top operational risks and costs
  • Implement efficient operating framework to mitigate regulatory risks and ensure high awareness of regulatory reform agenda in Corporate Sales
  • Execute plans to improve productivity of Sales, improve firm's automation and process efficiency
  • Execute plans to improve Corporate clients' experience. Ensure the organisation retains and improves competitiveness in the region and globally
  • Align with country and region based stakeholders with regards to business priorities and top risk management plans

Risk Management
  • Deliver a culture of risk management and ensure all teams comply with the risk management processes in place
  • Support the delivery of adequate and appropriate systems and controls to comply with Group and Business policies, procedures, standards and codes, including those governing Risk types, Compliance, ITO, Finance and Reputation.
  • Provide oversight and monitoring of all major risk issues and concentrations.
Governance
  • Promote an environment where compliance with internal control functions and the external regulatory framework is a central priority of business.
  • Support supervision of the framework to ensure business functions covered by this role comply with internal policies, procedures, codes and applicable external laws and regulations and adhere to the expected high standards set out in the FM Code of Conduct.
  • Support the assessment and effectiveness of the Group's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
  • Support delivering 'effective governance'; capability to challenge fellow executives effectively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 6 Years of experience in business management
  • Experience in Financial Markets COO business management
  • Preferred direct experience in FM Sales or Sales COO roles
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to audiences ranging from C-Suite to working level staff
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Forward looking with a holistic approach
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills - i.e. methodical and thorough
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others Well versed with Business Agility principles, Agile certification would be a plus
  • Experienced with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • Strong understanding of commercial Sales FM business
  • Track record of influencing stakeholders across functions/business areas to achieve a common goal
  • Good, structured understanding of front to back trade lifecycle management
