In May 2022, the firm became an FCA authorized benchmark administrator. This license has allowed the company to take on administration of the nine TP ICAP interest rate swaps benchmarks that were previously administered by Moorgate Benchmarks. In April 2023, the firm was also approved as an ESMA authorised benchmark administrator, making it the first IDB to administer OTC benchmarks and indices across Europe AND the UK.Central to Parameta\'s purpose is partnering with clients to create true value. The team is focussed on helping clients navigate changing market conditions, not only by providing world-class proprietary data but also the analysis and insight that will fuel their strategies.Role Overview:
The role requires to capture data from certain sources throughout the day covering specific cut times from several broker desks across all brands such as PVM/TP/ICAP as well as covers the first level support for client and distribution list requests either from clients or brokers. In addition, support our Sales team with knowledge around E&C information such as data, one-pagers or general information about the client and assist our Data Product team on tasks.Role Responsibilities as to Price Reporting / Data Quality Analysis

  • Capturing data at various timestamps to prepare forward curves throughout the day for client purposes
  • Compiling forward curves by utilising different broker input channels
  • Publish data via several ways of distribution channels to the client with particular attention to deadlines in place
  • Liaising with respective broking desks to cross check/validate potentially erroneous and/or delayed data
  • Assist the Parameta Data Quality team by investigating and validating internal requests covering E&C data to iron out errors
  • Data analysis / fault diagnostics - also on historical data
  • Responsibility for ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
  • Be compliant with operational risk requirements (e.g. cultural behaviours, security policies and regulatory requirements)
  • Complete any mandatory training by the required deadlines
  • Act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties.
Responsibilities as to Client and Sales/Data Product Support:
  • First line support of client enquiries especially during morning hours
  • Act as the person of contact for OTC Oil, Gas, Coal & Environmental derivatives in Singapore and assist the Data Product Team in London/Vienna on side tasks to help grow the E&C business
  • Managing different types of requests related to the distribution lists of all E&C related broker reports
  • Support sales by submitting vital information gathered from brokers or client requests
  • Adhering to our company\'s KYC policy for registrations
Experience / Competences:
Essential
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and corresponding data analysis capabilities
  • Understanding the use of OTC data within the Energy & Commodity and financial markets, including the instruments required for the various businesses
  • Keen attention to details and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Client focused, open & communicative
  • Confident working independently but aware when to ask for assistance or escalate
  • Good resilience when things get heated
  • Working consistently within established timelines and accurately tracking all tasks to timely completion
  • Ability to work to demanding targets and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of personal/team organization and focus
