The team is tasked with the responsibility and objective of driving performance across the Singtel Group as we embark on our new strategic initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable growth.Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Performance, the candidate will be involved in strategic projects that help to drive performance and ROIC improvements as well as transformation across Singtel Group.The candidate can look forward to an enriching experience in partnering with multiple stakeholders (spreading across various parts of the organisation) and experimenting with new ways of doing things.Make an impact by:

• Involve in strategic projects that help to drive performance and ROIC improvements as well as transformation across Singtel Group
• Track post-implementation review for investment projects and network capex per approved frameworks and cadences to ensure achievement of returns in support of the Singtel Group ROIC target
• Conduct internal controls/process/ policy reviews for business performance improvements. Ensure that there are proper structures, financial disciplines, and rigor in place and that all internal finance operations and processes are of a highly effective and professional standard.
• Cross-functional collaboration (e.g. Capital Management, Grp Finance, Business Management, Investor Relations, Treasury, Opcos Business Units, Associates (incl. Singtel Board Reps, Secondees, etc) to provide support on key strategic matters (valuation, capital restructuring, Profit/Margin improvement/Cost optimisation, etc)
• Support in the Project/ Business case monitoring/ reviews of major/strategic projects for returns analysis and reporting
• Work with middle management in the delivery of engagements and associated materials/outputs, supporting day-to-day stakeholder management, project management, and the development of high-quality deliverables

Skills for Success:

• Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Economics or other quantitative major, ie. CA/CPA
• Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting advisory or financial role, and large accounting firm experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a good rapport and collaborative working relationships with all ranks including C-suite
• Track record in finance business process improvements and performance management
• Project management skills
• Aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results
• Exceptional problem-solving skills - an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
• Ability to work independently play a hands-on role and exercise flexibility in a challenging and fast-paced environment
