Reporting to the Business Process and Systems Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and identifying areas of improvement in the current process and systems and propose solutions to improve efficiency for several ports, hubs and countries. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to improve and align the workflow process. From time to time, you will also participate in regional studies/projects with the aim of optimizing network costs and/or OPEX mitigation strategies.We are looking for someone with good knowledge in process improvements, strong analytical and communication skills. Prior experience in project management would be an added advantage.Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct studies to optimize process flows and reduce operational costs
  • Review and identify area of improvements, best practices of current process and coordinate follow up with respective functional departments and Head Office (HO)
  • Proactive follow up and reporting of the KPI initiatives and performances in the region with the help of analytics
  • Assist with regional action plans to improve processes and reduce OPEX
  • Proactive communication and follow up with Asia Regional Office (ARO), agency ops and HO with the goal to improve productivity and quality i.e. gap analysis, specific improvement plan
  • Participate and provide suggestions for continuous improvement projects and evaluation of existing IT tools
  • Promote digitalization tools within the Operations department
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new functionalities of systems and tools deployed by HO.
  • Create and formalize region-specific Process Flows using corporate BPM tool (Signavio).
  • Assist in HO Ops Project implementation for AP region (e.g., Digital Berth Plan, EDI onboarding, JIT berthing schedules)
  • Provide support to end-users, including support for all CMA CGM Group operated vessels, on matters related to access/usage of V2PS and any other applications under team\'s purview.
To excel in this role, you will need to possess good communication and analytical skills and sensitive to numbers.Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum a Diploma Holder and/or Degree Holders with 2 - 3 years of working experience in the shipping or related industry
  • Good mastery of main Microsoft Office suite (ie. Excel/Word/Powerpoint)
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous
  • Automation Tools
  • Business Intelligence scripting or visualization
  • Basic coding skills
  • Strong communication skills
