LocationSingapore The Regional Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering and design teams. The team is responsible for implementing strategy, road maps and features, while adhering to business goals. It covers all functions including but not limited to Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, Seller Service. About the Team:
The Product Management - Marketplace team serves Shopee’s key businesses across the different markets that Shopee has a presence in. This dynamic team plays a critical role to deep dive into the needs of different types of marketplace business models such as Cross Border Business, Brand Business, Supermarket Business and Local Business such as electronics and fashion. Some of the key features include Shopee International Platform, Brand Portal, Supermarket and Shopee Mall.
:

  • Identify business opportunities and users’ requirements through analysis of market trends, data, user feedback and competitor platforms.
  • Engage local and regional business stakeholders and functional leaders in the regional office to identify and solve obstacles that are preventing our key business segments from growing faster.
  • Analyse, align and evaluate business requirements, feasibility and value of the feature requests to deliver localised Production Requirement Document (PRD).
  • Prioritise and resolve any issues that are escalated in a timely manner and promptly communicate the progress for critical live issues.
  • Collaborate with other Product, Engineering and Design teams to implement long-term and sustainable product solutions that best suit the businesses.
  • Manage product specifications creation process and obtain sign-off from key stakeholders.
  • Manage complex, cross-functional products and lead the delivery process of these products (PRD, UAT, Live Release).
  • Execute day-to-day product operations to ensure business continuity.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or equivalent.
  • Experience in e-Commerce or product management will be advantageous.
  • Logical and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and comfortable to engage stakeholders from different levels.
  • Experience in one of our local markets will be highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Proficiency in another language (optional) to facilitate cross-border discussions and collaborations with stakeholders across the region.
