Job Description


The Business Resiliency Management group, in partnership with the business, is responsible for the management and delivery of the firm\'s Business Resiliency Program which includes development of business resiliency strategies, co-ordination of testing of recovery capabilities and coordination of crisis management.

You will be developing partnerships with businesses end to end i.e. front office, operations and technology, and have interactions with individuals at a senior levels in the organization. You will also build key partnerships exist with the internal providers of Business Recovery Facilities and Technology, as well as with the Global Business Resiliency Crisis Management, Audit and Operational/Information Risk Management and Oversight and Controls teams.

This role is based in Singapore, supporting delivery of Business Resiliency Program for Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) business and jurisdictional requirements in allocated APAC legal entities and branches. You will be tasked to provide back-up capabilities to the Asia Pacific region as may be required from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of program compliance for the business for, Business Resiliency Plans and Business Impact Analyses to ensure they are complete and meet all required standards; testing and validation of resiliency strategies.
  • Participate in and support planning, coordinating and reporting of business resiliency testing events.
  • Assist and arbitrate the activities of other Resiliency professionals; and be able to lead large scale crisis events, communicating to senior Business and Regional Management
  • Conduct risk profiling for the firm\'s locations, functions and initiatives; and be able to accurately and intelligently articulate risks, threats and vulnerabilities
  • Promote Business Resiliency knowledge sharing among the Business Management community including regular Business Resiliency awareness sessions.
  • Provide consolidated control reporting for the businesses as required (i.e., scorecards, metrics, semi-annual corporate reviews and other operations/technology reporting requirements)
  • Partner with the overall Controls & Oversight Team and the Global Business Resiliency Crisis Management Team to ensure all corporate resiliency planning requirements and standards are met.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in business resiliency/ business continuity function within the financial services industry is required
  • Worked in multi-cultural cross border corporate environment, with direct reporting manager or employee based in different location
  • Demonstrated strong relationship and influencing skills, and the ability to interface with business, operations and technology contacts at all levels
  • Robust and objective project management skills in a business management, risk & control or operations function
  • Flexibility i.e. Comfortable adjusting to sudden changes to meet business objectives.
  • Must be prepared to be available during non-business hours for interactions with cross-region/country stakeholders.
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
