Your role

Are you able to handle multiple priorities (combination of new and repetitive) with energy and enthusiasm? Do you want to work closely with senior management on driving the function forward?

We\'re looking for Business & Risk Sector Specialist to:

• understand the priorities and strategic goals of the sector
• instigating change initiatives that will drive the business forward
• manage a portfolio of projects ranging from quick tasks such as pulling a headcount report to longer term strategic initiatives over several months
• work with a variety of stakeholders both within your function and with supporting units [specify e.g. Human Resources or Finance]
• regularly evaluate and improve existing processes, put new processes (including training) into action and systematically track these
• work closely with stakeholders & review metrics provided to evaluate and mitigate risk
• make sure that legal, compliance and regulatory requirements are observed, including Sarbanes-Oxley and KYC (Know-Your-Client)
• resolve non-operational client issues and complaints in accordance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
• act as an interface between regional markets and the central market and sales management units

Your team

You\'ll be working in the Private Wealth business management team in Singapore. We provide a huge variety of services to ensure that the Private Wealth performs effectively whilst keeping alignment with our strategic priorities. You\'ll be working closely with Business Sector Head, Market Team Heads & Chief of Staff Team. As a Business & Risk Sector Specialist, you\'ll play an important role in ensuring that the Sectors strategies & risk are well supported.

Your expertise

• at least 3 to 5 years of experience working as a business manager or in a similar role which required the above expertise preferable in private banking
• very organised and able to juggle many tasks simultaneously
• an excellent communicator with persuasive presentation skills
• quick to learn new things including IT skills, tools and new process
• always looking to remove barriers and increase efficiency
• a natural project manager with a strategic mind-set
• clear communicator, with exceptional interpersonal skills
• analytic thinker, with the ability to provide practical solutions
• self-starter, willing to take on responsibility (you can micromanage yourself)
• highly proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
