Purpose:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Business Transformation team in Singapore. You will help make the difference and contribute to the successful transformation of our business through the delivery of targeted digital and data initiatives.

You will be our change management champion for workflow transformation & data initiatives, and develop partnership and operate as the business\' trusted advisor.

With a good knowledge of our data and workflow landscape, you will come up with the direction and requirements of solutions that will improve Zurich\'s way of working, such as internal app builds with APIs integration, process automation and BI dashboards.

You will collaborate with like minded colleagues across Zurich\'s network and within the business unit, and support each other to architect, design and deliver high quality digital and data solutions.

Job Accountabilities:

Collaborate with business users to understand their workflow and data needs, recommend digital solutions and translate them to technical requirements.

Design app-driven solutions involving Power Apps, Power Automate, APIs and MS SQL Server to solve business needs by conceptualizing application screen designs, mapping and definition of required data fields, and designing of database structure to support the app build with our strategic solution provider.

Help advance our data maturity with solutions to provide analytics beyond descriptive intelligence by understanding the data needs of business users, working with data in our data warehouse, identifying of potential data sources for ingestion and providing technical direction and requirements for our strategic data solution provider to deliver the solutions.

Supervise and manage the project delivery of our strategic solution provider, and provide input on design considerations / options across infrastructure, data sourcing, data transformation approach, visualization design, workflow design, system integration design, etc., as well as safeguard the robust, stable and quality running of our data solution and capabilities

Represent the business unit as its Business Transformation Analyst to foster collaboration and sharing of lessons learnt with other business units, and regional / global data leads

Experience and attributes:

Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines

Good domain knowledge of the workings of P&C General Insurance\'s products, workflow, systems and data

More than 3 years of experience in business transformation space.

Technically proficient and knowledgeable in the use of data query and visualization tools such as MS SQL, Power BI, and working experience with relational database schemas

Good understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), with experience in canvas app build preferred

General understanding of workings of APIs and related architecture will be preferred.

Interest and knowledge of UIPath preferred, but not mandatory

Proven track record and practical experience with architecting, designing, and building / enhancing apps and data solutions, and in the testing, reconciliation and providing design assurance to app / dashboard / analytics / workflow deliveries

Hands-on, and open minded with can-do attitude

Meticulous, rigorous with detail, whilst having a clear appreciation of the big picture

Ability to navigate ambiguity and see work through to completion with minimal supervision

Team player, with effective communication and presentation skills.
