MasterControl is growing rapidly and recruiting a Senior Business Development / Sales Development Representative for our Singapore sales team. This vital role will initiate prospect contact, nurture, and qualify leads for our regional sales teams. Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, the Business / Sales Development Representative (BDR/SDR) will work closely with the North America sales and marketing teams and be responsible for generating Sales Accepted Opportunities from prospects who have engaged with our marketing activities. You will be responsible for creating a targeted sales approach with your Account Executive and creating viable sales opportunities You will work to optimize your calls and emails to prospects to increase contact rates. Once you make contact you will hone your selling skills to improve your qualification rate. Successful SDR/BDRs will be eligible for promotion.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for nurturing sales pipeline with qualified opportunities
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity growth
  • Perform outbound calling for lead generation
  • Manage and monitor prospect activities and provide follow-up to such activities
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Articulate the Company's value proposition to decision-makers across multiple industries to assess buying interest
  • Adapt conversations to promote software solutions with various management levels and professionals across technical and business disciplines
  • Optimize your daily activities to increase lead-to-opportunity conversion
  • Effective use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo tools to research accounts and identify key players
  • Follow-up on Marketing Qualified Leads according to our SLA (Service Level Agreement - timely and thoughtful)
  • Pass-qualified opportunities and related information to the sales team to create an effective lead hand-off
  • Develop and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the Company's technology
  • Develop effective industry-specific email templates and messages
  • Proactively and continuously consume company products and market knowledge via websites, online webinars, and marketing information
  • Social Media Monitoring: Engaging with social media platforms, researching topics, and sharing information with individuals responsible for producing the content and responses
  • Record all activity in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and update records as necessary

Skills and Experience: The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical, tenacious, and can effectively interact with a team. This position has advancement potential within the organization. The compensation package includes an uncapped commission structure.
  • Previous experience as a BDR / SDR preferred
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Adapt quickly to change
  • Prior experience with salesforce.com CRM, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo a plus
  • 1-3 years of Sales or Sales Support related experience (Technology industry preferred, but not required)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not required
  • This position is based in Singapore. The ability to work in Singapore without visa support is required.
