Job Description
Purchasing Assistant / Executive
Salary : $2,500 - $3,500
5.5days Monday - Friday: 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm
Location : Ubi
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for sourcing, selection and negotiation with new suppliers to strive for the best outcome between prices and quality / services rendered.
- Monitor performance of the suppliers and services by completing evaluation forms.
- Co-ordinate with project and logistics team to ensure that delivery of said supplies (equipment) is delivered to customers on time
- Develop and implement policies for long term supply assurance, sourcing strategy for risk mitigation and cost optimization.
- Process Purchase Orders
- Prepare periodical reports which include supplier / service provider evaluation and proposal to change if unsatisfactory.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.
