Job Description

Using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software to determine material and service needsCreate and maintain Purchase OrdersMonitor existing open orders to ensure on -time deliveriesExpedite supplier orders as required to support productionAnalyse costs and negotiate prices for goods and servicesCreate and update Supplier Price ListsMaintain Supplier Contact informationManage In-Transit inventory levels and receipts, especially from intercompany sources.Work with Production Scheduler to share supply changes related to PO need dates and material availability.Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, quality issues, and cost concernsCommunicate supply chain information to other departments and managementMonitor Engineer Change (EC) closely and manage Excess and Obsolescence & slow -moving materials.Implement consignment agreements with suppliers, where necessaryBuild vendor base as required.Prepare cost analysis reportsUndertake any other duties as assigned by the superior.RequirementsDiploma/Bachelor\'s degree (or higher) in Supply Chain Management, Production, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent3-5 years working experience in a purchasing/supply chain role preferably in manufacturing environmentMRP/ERP experience is preferred - experience with Epicor is a plusBenefitsMRP/ERP experience is preferred - experience with Epicor is a plusCompany profileMCi Career Services4.1\xc2\xb7Human Resources & Recruitment51-100 employeesWith over 15 years in the industry, MCI is a leading recruitment and outsourcing provider in Singapore.
