C# Engineer - Singapore

We are seeking a

C# Software Engineer

to join our team, focusing exclusively on the

maintenance and enhancement of existing applications

. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy diving deep into complex systems, resolving issues, and ensuring system stability.


You will be responsible for

L3 support, performing root cause analysis, resolving performance issues

, working within an enterprise level systems with built from scratch environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and resolve software defects in existing C# .NET, MS SQL, JAVA applications. Perform detailed

root cause analysis

for reported issues and propose sustainable solutions. Collaborate with QA and business teams to

reproduce bugs

and verify fixes. Optimize and refactor code for improved performance and maintainability. Review logs and metrics to diagnose system behavior and recommend improvements. Work closely with team members to ensure timely delivery of fixes and patches. Document resolutions and updates in internal knowledge bases.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience

in C# .NET software development with exposure to Java. At least 4 years of experience in

MS SQL Server

and writing/debugging SQL queries. Experienced in performing root cause analysis and resolving performance issues. Familiarity with

CI/CD pipelines

(e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git). Exposure to Microservices / Kafka Experience with

Visual Studio

,

Git

, and

issue tracking tools

like JIRA. Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities with proactive mindset.
This is a 1 year contract to start, renewable and convertible to permanent.
