Cafe Operations Manager

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on

Operations Manager

to oversee the daily running of our cafe and lead our team toward excellence in both service and operations. This role is ideal for someone who's passionate about F&B, enjoys creating efficient systems, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

What You'll Do:

Oversee daily cafe operations to ensure smooth service flow and high customer satisfaction Manage, train, and motivate the front-of-house and barista teams to uphold quality and consistency Monitor inventory, ordering, and supplier coordination to ensure stock accuracy and cost efficiency Implement and maintain SOPs for service, hygiene, and safety standards Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance reviews Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally Support marketing and promotional initiatives to boost sales and engagement Work closely with the owner/chef team on menu planning, R&D, and process improvement Oversee housekeeping standards, equipment maintenance, and overall cafe presentation

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in an F&B management or supervisory role (preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting) Strong leadership and communication skills -- able to guide, motivate, and support a small team Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving Comfortable with both front-of-house operations and back-end admin duties Passionate about hospitality and maintaining a great guest experience Comfortable with and/or loves animals -- as we are a

pet-friendly establishment

Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic working environment Responsible, reliable (e.g. turn up to work on time or early), & take pride in your work Should ideally have experience as a barista, but you can always learn on the job!

Work Schedule & Compensation:

6-day work week (maximum 44 hours total) Overtime pay will be provided accordingly if required Competitive salary based on experience
