We're looking for a versatile, hands-on team member who enjoys both the kitchen and the cafe floor.
You'll support daily kitchen prep, assist with production and plating, and also help serve guests when needed.
This is a great opportunity for someone with kitchen experience who enjoys interacting with customers and being part of a dynamic cafe environment.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Duties :
Assist in daily mise en place and simple food preparation.
Support chefs in pastry finishing, plating, and assembly.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
Assist in stock rotation and receiving deliveries.
Service Duties:
Greet customers warmly and assist with orders.
Serve food and beverages to guests.
Handle simple POS transactions or takeaway packaging.
Prepare beverages for guests (Coffee, tea & etc)
Support cafe floor setup and closing tasks.
Requirements
Prior
kitchen experience
in a cafe, bakery, or pastry environment is required.
Basic
front-of-house or service experience
preferred.
Strong teamwork, adaptability, and willingness to learn both sides of operations.
Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
Positive attitude, good communication skills, and attention to detail.
WSQ Food Hygiene certification preferred.
