Service Standards:
Ensure consistent operations, high standards of service quality, and attention to guests, conveying a positive image of the restaurant through professionalism and good attitude, while implementing effective upselling techniques and providing recommendations to guests.
Team Management:
Supervise and train service team members to adhere to service standards, ensure suggestive selling techniques are performed, and relay management decisions to ensure restaurant standards and culture are correctly applied.
Wine Expertise:
Provide expert wine service, including wine pairings recommendations, decanting, and contributing to wine list development.
Operational Management:
Oversee and ensure smooth daily operations of service, bar, and back of house, control restaurant mise en place and setup standards, operate the POS system, manage daily cash transactions, and maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
Requirements:
Certifications:
WSET certification or equivalent in wine and beverage knowledge.
Experience:
Preferably 5 years of fine dining experience with a strong service background. Experience working with an international chef is desirable.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a cheerful and guest-oriented demeanor. Strong knowledge of wine service, food pairing, and refined hospitality etiquette.
