Our client is one of the largest multinational organization and they are specialised in the handling the transportation of heavy machinery. They hold one of the largest market share around regions and is currently expanding their business. Hence, looking for Cargo Superintendent and this incumbent will be handling operations, coordinate with local agents, monitor vessel activities and manage stowage plans. Job Details: * Salary basic up to $6000 + transport allowance * Location: Jurong Port * Working hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5:30pm

Hence, looking for Cargo Superintendent and this incumbent will be handling operations, coordinate with local agents, monitor vessel activities and manage stowage plans.

Job Details:

  • Salary basic up to $6000 + transport allowance

  • Working hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5:30pm
Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise the daily operations related to cargo handling, which encompass activities such as planning the arrangement of goods, managing cargo and terminal handling processes, coordinating stevedoring tasks, and overseeing terminal activities.
  • Coordinate with local agents to ensure smooth and efficient dispatch while maintaining vessel and cargo operations safety.
  • In collaboration with BO teams, local agents, and authorities, proactively identify and effectively resolve operational challenges.
  • Monitor the daily transit and bunkering activities of all vessels in Singapore and troubleshoot any transit issues in collaboration with Masters, Agents, and Local Authorities to ensure smooth and safe operations.
  • Review, confirm, and issue stowage plans for export, way cargo, Control equipment (and transhipment cargoes.
  • Manage cost and tariff control.
  • Ensure quick dispatch of our vessels to reduce port costs.
  • Coordinate with all the concerned parties to avoid the overtime charges by adjusting vessel\'s ETA whenever possible.
  • Handle Vessels and Cargo accidents/damages
  • Provide training to stevedores and suppliers to ensure compliance with our cargo safety and quality standards.
The Talent
  • Preferably with 1 year of experience in managing port operation or Logistics
