Anchored in our values of Passion for Sport, Strength through Teamwork and Care for People, we believe in working and playing, not just as a team, but as a family.What you will be working on:ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be part of the Safe Sport Taskforce to work on:Case Managementa) has overall responsibility for the management of reports of concern regarding incidents of abuse and/or harassment including:

  • triaging reports of concern and directs persons affected to augmented support including liaising with families, relevant stakeholders develops partnerships with related local organisations for augmented support.
  • implements risk management plan where necessary including recommendations for temporary measures
  • conducts investigations of (including with minors and youth), through interviews and other methods of fact finding in relation to incidents of abuse and/or harassment
  • writes and maintains formal reports, including recommending appropriate resolution by rehabilitation, policy changes, referral to disciplinary processes and/or other interventions
  • works closely with local agencies and authorities (including law enforcement and child protection) and international agencies for regular information exchange and consultation
b) reviews and refines investigations protocols and policies under the Safe Sport Programme response and resolution framework. Ensures processes are trauma-informed.c) works closely with Disciplinary Officer when cases are referred to the disciplinary panel and attends hearings if requiredd) oversees and maintains case management system for reporting of cases and database of disciplinary records.Traininga) works with and supports the network of designated safeguarding officers and sport administrators with organisations in managing cases, including the recommendation and of appropriate interventions, assisting to informally resolve cases.b) assists in facilitating training and makes recommendations for curriculum development and identifies stakeholder training needs based on incidents.What we are looking for:RequirementsWe are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
  • Background in Social Sciences (Psychology, Social work, Sociology or Criminology
  • At least 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Practicing knowledge of psychological first aid
  • Knowledge and ability to assess pyscho-social needs and familiar with trauma-informed care
  • Capable of assessing group processes and intervention strategies to bring about successful outcomes
  • Self-starter and a team player
  • Resourceful and proactive
The level of offer will commensurate with applicants\' experience and track records.
