Job Summary

• Nursing Home Working Environment
• Working Hour: Monday - Friday, Office Hour
• Location: Jurong West
• Salary: Up $5500 + AWS + Performance Bonuses

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the newly prescribed dementia care model by the dementia consultant, including developing new SOPs, making changes to the care environment, providing staff training, and offering day-to-day support post-implementation.
• Assist in reviewing the implementation of the new care model and in making necessary adjustments afterward.
• Coordinate with the dementia consultant for guidance and support after the implementation.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in dementia care, and help introduce relevant new practices and interventions into the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Centre Management.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse, registered Occupational Therapist or accredited Social Worker OR
• A degree in Psychology, Counselling, Gerontology or Sociology
• Trained in dementia practice and has at least 3 years\' working experience in dementia care, preferably in an eldercare setting
• Passionate about dementia care
• Good oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
• Compassionate, critical thinking and organizational skills
