You will be joining a company with global presence and is listed on the Australian securities exchange, where it is a top 100 company. As the business has recorded strong growth and profitability, it has created this new role with exciting opportunities to deliver value in a greenfield space.
Your new role
You will be in charge of:
- Leading category strategy and procurement events for Marketing across APAC
- Negotiating major creative, media and other contracts
- Providing strategic advice on commercial and supplier issues
- Supporting the development of commercial and supplier management capabilities and know-how within ANZ and Asia marketing teams
- Planning marketing sourcing events and manage procurement relationships
- Providing strategic, insightful reporting and proposing improvements to management
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is someone who has:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or other relevant discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ Procurement experience, with at least 2 years in Marketing category management
- Well versed in Creative and Media Marketing
- Prior experience in marketing is advantageous
- Excellent contract review, analysis and negotiation skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and deal with ambiguity
