Job Description

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Junior Category Manager to join the brand management team. This role will allow you to work across beer, wine, spirits & non-alcoholic portfolios across the Singapore market and receive on the job training on Brand Management & Brand Building. You will learn to be accountable for understanding the needs of the customers within the channels supporting the business development managers, creating brand awareness for consumers and customers through brand plans and channel plans.Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Responsible for supporting the Category Manager on trade marketing projects (promotional plans, trade marketing plans, launch of new products) & overall brand management
• Assist in building on trade commercial capability and excellence of execution
• Support the business development managers for brilliant execution
• Create and Lead brand awareness within the market through the different channels
• Supporting brands in execution of best-in-class commercial activities
• Research and analyze data and market insights
• Search for insights into consumer needs and wants
• Plan and implement long-term development strategies for product categories
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors
• Ensure product availability
• Strategize positioning of the product categories in order to maximize its visibility
• Collaborate with the marketing team
• Research competitors and suggest appropriate pricing and promotional activities
• Work with customers and merchandisers and find new ways of expanding product categories
• Calculate forecasts for product demand trends
