With offices in New York, California, London, Frankfurt, Milan, Lisbon, Dublin, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, the TAS team at Deutsche Bank has long been recognized as a leader in the provision of administrative and fiduciary services to the global debt and equities markets. TAS supports products including Term Debt, Project Finance and Structured Finance securities, Money Market Instruments, Escrows, Syndicated Bank Loans, and Depositary Receipts.

The TAS Product Management team is responsible for the growth and evolution of Issuer products and services in the global capital markets. Product Managers engage with the market to identify and understand regulatory and business driven challenges facing clients and ensure that Deutsche Bank has solutions in place to address these needs.

This role will focus on the strategic development or enhancement of TAS products in the APAC region. You will engage with senior management and business partners to drive product strategy in the region. You will work in close coordination with members of the client services, sales, transaction management, technology and operations teams to enhance, build and develop solutions in line with the Group strategic objectives.

Your key responsibilities

Develop and execute product strategies focused on revenue growth and process improvement.

Ensure that all TAS APAC products are fit-for-purpose and delivered in accordance with the Corporate Bank Product Governance Policy.

Represent Product Management on the TAS APAC Senior Management team.

Stakeholder management and coordination across functions: Product Development, Design & implementation, Product, Sales, Legal, Technology and Operations.

Product Strategy & Development

Priority focus on the delivery of existing and future TAS strategic initiatives, leading business delivery workstreams and coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

Identify new product development and product extension/enhancement opportunities, from idea generation through to product delivery.

Perform market / environmental analysis and competitor benchmarking; understand and articulate the needs of the market.

Drive priority business initiatives supporting revenue growth / revenue protection and regulatory conformance.

Work closely with the regional business head and management team, developing proof of concepts, business cases and implementation plans for identified opportunities.

Lead the New Product Approval (NPA) process for new products and product enhancements.

Engage SMEs across the business, bringing them together to facilitate project goals.

Attend and participate in speaking engagements at product and industry events.

Understand disruptive / digital market evolution and the impact on the TAS business \xe2\x80\x93 perform opportunity analyses and define product development requirements.

Collaborate with other regional product managers to ensure best practices and core principals are understood, adopted, and implemented.

Product Governance & Regulation

Ensure products are fit-for-purpose and adhere to CB product governance requirements \xe2\x80\x93 you will perform Systematic Product Reviews and Product Risk Assessments in collaboration with group and business control functions.

Critically examine the product framework to identify gaps in risk management processes and controls.

Validate the scope and materiality of regulations impacting TAS and work with business partners to determine IT/process change-requirements for remediation/conformance.

Product Marketing & Sales

Develop marketing strategies that optimize the positioning of products and services and work with Marketing team to execute.

Contribute to internal and external thought leadership campaigns, including preparing materials for articles, seminars, and conferences.

Collaborate with sales, business development and client service teams to produce product fact sheets and other marketing materials.

Assist with product training and sales enablement for new products launched, inclusive of documentation (KOPs), product fact sheets and FAQ\xe2\x80\x99s.

Your skills and experience

Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in product management/development or project/programme management in the global financial services and capital markets industry.

Corporate Trust product knowledge and experience is important.

At least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in transaction banking and in a securities environment.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

The ability to analyse business situations and identify new and/or enhanced product opportunities.

Excellent communication skills and be able to articulate clearly to senior executives.

Entrepreneurial thinking and a penchant for taking ownership and initiative.

Strong business acumen and a workstyle that is performance and results oriented.

The ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work collaboratively with teams as well as individually.

Strong academic credentials.

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirement applies.
