[What the role is]

The Senior Executive (EdTech) will work in the Centre for Educational Development (CED) to drive the implementation and adoption of education technologies in Republic Polytechnic (RP).

[What you will be working on]

• Work with multiple stakeholders such as IT office, faculties, and vendors to integrate education technologies in RP\xe2\x80\x99s Learning Management System (LMS) as well as other systems within the polytechnic\xe2\x80\x99s IT infrastructure.

• Develop technical specifications for use in procurement and oversee the timely procurement of education technologies.

• Manage vendors and stakeholders to drive adoption of education technologies.

• Maintain existing education technologies platforms and provide administrative support when necessary.

• Analyse data to evaluate the effectiveness of education technologies and applications in enhancing teaching and learning.

• Work with Professional Development (PD) team in the conduct of Learning Needs Analysis to identify users\xe2\x80\x99 learning needs, issues, and gaps in the adoption of recommended education technologies and applications.

• Support PD team in the design and conduct of training programmes to ensure effective adoption of education technologies among users.

• Troubleshoot and provide guidance or advice where necessary.

• Appraise capabilities, strengths and weaknesses of education technologies and tools (existing and new)

[What we are looking for]

Candidate should have:

• 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in supporting the implementation and integration of education technologies (or equivalent) within a department or an organisation.

• Experience in using and/or working with education technologies in blended learning, online learning, and/or micro-learning deployments.

• Excellent working knowledge of LMSes such as Blackboard, Brightspace, Canvas, iSpring Learn, SharePoint LMS etc.

• Good working knowledge of the latest trends in education technologies or technologies at large, e.g., mobile learning, AR/VR, AI, Learning Analytics etc.

• Demonstrate skill in digital learning content development applications and tools such as Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Animate/After Effects, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Voyd (formerly GoAnimate), PowToon, etc

Candidate who also has experience in the drafting of specifications for the procurement of education technologies will be considered favourably.
