Our client, an established organisation in Singapore that strives to maintain cognitive wellness and slow down cognitive decline of their clients through multi- sensory stimulating activities, with the aim of retaining their functional abilities and social engagement within the community, is expanding. In a vibrant, safe and supportive environment, they provide person-centered care for senior adults with/is at risk of cognitive impairment through non-pharmacological methods. Join them in this exciting journey as a: Centre Manager This position reports directly to the Director of Programme, and the company is looking for Centre Manager who is either a registered nurse with geratric experiences or one with wealth of experience working with dementia clients. Responsibilities

  • Support Director of Programme to develop an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the organization, in curriculum planning, and conduct regular staff supervision
  • Lead, motivate and train junior personnel
  • Conduct staff training to close gap on dementia care or person centred care
  • Review processes, update SOP and protocol of centre operations and care plan for clients
  • Conduct pre and post assessment (MoCa, interrai) for clients
  • Triage new referral for subsidized and non- subsidized enrolment to either Centre -based
  • Handle non- complex & complex behavioral problem of participants with dementia
  • Plan and conduct bi-monthly Caregivers Support Group
  • Identify caregivers\' needs and organize caregivers workshops
Requirements
  • Relevant education in mental health, social work or related field study in gerontology
  • Relevant experience in geriatric services and program execution for dementia clients
  • Relevant work experience of at least 3 years
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office
  • Able to attend and participate in regular devotions in church
