Job Description

NTUC Health is one of the largest community health and eldercare providers in Singapore. Through our Active Ageing Centres, we engage the seniors within the clusters and support them by reaching out to understand their needs, curating programmes that cater to the needs of active seniors, and befriending isolated and vulnerable seniors.

As a Centre Supervisor, you will be in-charge of the overall smooth operation of the AAC. You will oversee the daily operations and administrative matters, work with regional health system (RHS, healthcare cluster), volunteers, grassroots, schools, on activities and programmes for the Seniors.

  • Ensure the overall smooth operations of AAC within allocated budget
  • Lead and plan seniors outreach activities to know our seniors in the community
  • Co-ordinate the support services and organize activities for the seniors in the assigned service boundary
  • Ensure all the senior activities and programmes in the AAC promote a community climate of multi-racial tolerance, harmony and co-operation among residents
  • Plan and organize active ageing programmes that improve the daily attendance of centre
  • Recruit, supervise, engage volunteers to help run or assist in the AAC\'s programmes
  • Coach and guide the team members to deliver their duties
  • Coordinate/prepare reports on AACH programmes and activities to the management and funders of the programme
  • Promote NTUC Health services and programmes, from time to time. Where require, coordinate care and support services through internal referral or external agencies
  • Support any seniors outreach events and programmes that may happen after office hours and on weekends when needed
  • Upkeep AAC to provide a safe and conducive environment for seniors
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum GCE \xe2\x80\x99A\xe2\x80\x99 level or Diploma with some working experiences.
  • Genuine interest to engage our seniors in the community, such as park, coffee shops
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in running operations or Active Ageing Centres would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Google Suite Applications
  • Able to motivate peers and team members
  • Team player and able to work collaboratively with internal and external partners
  • Ability to be hands-on and detailed oriented when needed
  • Able to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Excellent service mindset to serve the senior community
Other Information:

Advantageous & Additional Skills:
  • Good knowledge of various community services and support in the community setting will be an advantage
  • Ability to converse in local languages
The employee may be required to work on some weekends and weekday evenings when there are programmes or events during those times.
