The role

As CEO, you are responsible for growing our business in Singapore, ranging from business development to acquire leading brands, adopting and rolling out new Intrepid services & technology, building and strengthening the team both in terms of organization and processes, and last but not least you are responsible for delivering the Singapore P&L targets.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Drive business development with Singapore consumer brand clients, from leads generation to developing presentations, commercial proposals & business cases, and pitching and negotiating with senior ecommerce and business stakeholders, working closely with Marketing and regional BD team
  • Craft tailored solutions for clients, spanning multiple disciplines (ecommerce management, fulfillment, marketing, data solutions & technology), working together with different teams across Intrepid.
  • Develop and implement growth & sales strategies for each business area, initiate complementary partnerships, and maintain strong relationships with the ecommerce platforms
  • Responsible for operational & service KPIs, and for the Singapore P&L targets across our different business lines.
  • Build processes and ways of working to enable smooth operations and running of the business.
  • Leader of the Singapore teams (based both locally, and overseas), responsible for people management and capability development.
The ideal candidate
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree
  • 10+ years of work experience
  • Business Development / Commercial experience, ideally pitching tailor made service solutions and engaging with ecommerce & C-level stakeholders of consumer brands in Singapore
  • Experience in one of the leading ecommerce marketplaces in Singapore, heading ecommerce at a leading brand, an ecommerce enabler or similar. Consulting / Banking experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce marketplace practices, platforms, tools & systems
  • Strong understanding and experience in ecommerce and digital marketing. Tech / Analytics / Saas experience is a plus
  • Strong network with consumer brands in Singapore and with potential ecommerce talent across various functions
  • Financially literate, P&L management experience, understanding of retail business / distributor business models and margin structures, understanding of typical brand P&L structures
  • Proven (multi-disciplinary) team management experience. Able to build a team, enable it to perform and foster a positive team culture
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, able to craft compelling proposals. Mandarin a plus
  • Strong analytical, excel and problem-solving skills, able to structure problems in excel models and processes
  • Collaborative team player, culturally sensitive, fun-loving, driven and results-oriented
