We plan to open the biggest pottery studio and team, using our space not only as a ceramic studio but also as a place for gallery and as party venues. We sincerely hope to work together with all-ceramic art enthusiasts. Work location: Orchard Central, Orchard Road Salary: negotiable Hours: 5-6 days work week, 9 - 10 hours per day : Duties will include: Ceramics tutoring Design ceramic classes Plan exhibitions and events including artist workshop Kiln loading and unloading, and firing of ceramic pieces Design and produce AIA ceramic product for retails purposes Sets up, cleans, and demonstrates the use of equipment and instruments Maintains inventories, orders supplies in accordance with purchasing procedures Monitors safety and security of work area, equipment, supplies, and materials Maintains cleanliness of work area Any other assigned ad-hoc duties. General Requirements Candidates with at least a diploma or degree in 3D art-related qualifications, especially pottery Possess intermediate knowledge of ceramics (throwing, trimming, and glazing) Able to make sake sets and teapot sets Experience with teaching ceramics will be an absolute advantage Passionate about working in the ceramics industry Responsible and well-organized Good communication skills and enjoy interacting with customers A team player Willing to work weekends and public holidays Meticulous, good organizational and documentation skills.
