Details of the Division and Team:
Treasury is part of the Finance division with the Group Treasurer reporting to the Group CFO. The function is responsible for the sourcing, management and optimisation of liquidity and capital to deliver high-value risk management decisions. This is underpinned by a best-in-class risk framework that enables Treasury to identify the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s resource demands, set incentives by allocating resource costs to businesses and manage to evolving regulation.
Treasury\xe2\x80\x99s mandate, which encompasses the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s funding strategy, Asset and Liability management (ALM) and management of liquidity reserves, supports businesses in delivering on their strategic targets at global and local level. Treasury manages the optimization of all financial resources to implement the group\xe2\x80\x99s strategic objective and maximize long-term return on shareholders\xe2\x80\x99 equity. The Group Treasurer is based in London and the Treasury function operates across the globe with major hubs in Frankfurt, London, Singapore and New York.

Your key responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be part of the Regional Treasury team within the APAC region, with a strong focus on Treasury Markets and Investments projects and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Based in Singapore, the candidate will be responsible for:
Driving and ensuring successful delivery of key initiatives and projects for the APAC region, covering a broad range of cross-functional topics relevant to Treasury Markets & Investments.
Acting as regional representative in global projects to drive and implement strategic change and process improvements.
Lead and coordinate existing regional Treasury Markets & Investment initiatives. This includes IBOR transition, improvements in funding/pricing/quoting infrastructure, risk analytics enhancements and many others.
Managing communication with global stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues within/across functions to support the execution of the business strategy and achievement of the bank/division objectives.
Provide regular updates to APAC management on status of initiatives and projects, highlighting key risks, dependencies, actions and delivery timelines.
Understanding the local regulatory environments as they relate to Treasury, ensuring the Treasury team and businesses are always appraised of developments and changes, together with the likely impacts.
Undertaking various projects relating to implementing of process enhancements, exploring innovative ways of conducting ongoing businesses efficiently, as well as out of the box thinking to implement new strategies for Treasury management.
Your skills and experience:
4+ years of project management experience in a Treasury, Technology or Operations environment.
Good understanding of financial markets/Treasury products and systems e.g. Kondor+, Reuters
2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in leading treasury project management and business analysis activities to strengthen roll out of both Global and APAC initiatives
Strong project management skills:
Experience in prioritizing and driving changes including system enhancement and process improvement / streamlining.
Experience in understanding / advising on the front-to-back system flow process
Experience in engaging stakeholders and supporting the rollout of key Treasury initiatives in the region.
A history of taking initiative and being pro-active. Strong drive for results, ability to plan, track and follow through to delivery on projects.
Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines, have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to work independently.
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirement applies.
