The Opportunity

OpenText is seeking a talented, experienced Channel Marketing Manager to lead the Carbonite + Webroot product lines and help us develop and implement marketing programs that target our current partner communities. In this role, you will be responsible for partner focused marketing programs, as well as building strategic plans for key partners. You will work hand-in-hand with our distribution, reseller and MSP partners on executing marketing initiatives to grow partner pipeline and revenue across the Carbonite + Webroot portfolio.

You can multitask, efficiently communicate & work cross-functionally within a partner's organization. You can also collaborate with internal sales team, marketing support, operations, communications & other functional departments. You are an expert in partner lead flow and attribution management and tracking. You have a passion for working with partners, are detail oriented and have a knack for juggling multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment. The programs you oversee will contribute to accelerating Webroot and Carbonite expanding go-to-market within the channel.

This role requires a blend of strong marketing execution capabilities along with an ability to build and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will align closely with sales leadership to develop a marketing plan that supports the businesses goals. This position requires someone who is highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. You Are Great At

  • Collaborating and partnering with the sales teams and channel partners to develop plans and tactics that drive pipeline and revenue goals
  • Managing market development funds (MDF) spend and budget
  • Developing and managing end-to-end tactical activities including:
  • Co-marketing programs
  • Communications and newsletters
  • Events and roadshows and provide onsite support when needed
  • Partner content
  • Promotions and incentives
  • Webinars
  • Digital programs (emails, social, paid media etc)
  • Understanding the tools and resources partners need to be successful in going to market with OpenText security solutions
  • Customising global campaigns and content to a regional audience and assist partner implementation (email, social, SEM and SEO, collaterals)
  • Measure campaign impact through SFDC reporting, evaluate event/campaign ROI, and present on recommendations for improvement
  • Handling day-to-day administrative tasks and reporting
What It Takes
  • Minimum of 5+ years of partner marketing field experience
  • Track record delivering strong event experiences that accelerate partner revenue growth
  • Position is located in Singapore where the candidate has knowledge and experience working with distribution partners in the Indian and Asian territory is crucial
  • The candidate is clear, articulate and confident in all forms of communication in English plus any Asian language would be beneficial (not mandatory)
  • Creative thinker who can turn innovative ideas and concepts into reality
  • Effective communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management / organisational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives at once
  • Results oriented with experience using qualitative and quantitative metrics with a focus on revenue, conversion, sales and other marketing goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and know how to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision yet be highly accountable
  • General knowledge of the cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products and knowledgeable of other sales and marketing tools and platforms
  • Willingness to travel
