Job Description

Responsibilities:
Safety

• Follow Permit-To-Work procedures and ensure compliance among team members.
• Conduct daily safety checks and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Maintain good housekeeping at the worksite.
• Report unsafe conditions or incidents to the Supervisor immediately.

Quality

• Ensure work meets the required standards and specifications.
• Perform basic quality checks and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain good workmanship and assist in inspections when required.

Schedule

• Execute tasks according to the daily work plan.
• Report delays or issues affecting progress to the Supervisor.

Productivity

• Understand job requirements and deadlines.
• Meet daily job targets and coordinate with other trades as needed.
• Use tools and equipment efficiently and safely.

Leadership & Supervision

• Lead a small team of workers in executing painting tasks.
• Brief team on safety, job scope, and targets.
• Support administrative tasks such as reporting job completion.

Requirements:

• Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in a shipyard or similar environment.
• Basic understanding of blasting and painting operations.
• Ability to read painting specifications and follow instructions.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in painting.
• Comfortable working at heights.

• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.45am-5pm
