Our client is a reputable MNC and a leading agricultural and foods commodities trading company.Job Responsibilities:This position is responsible for managing voyage charters in the dry bulk market for the Freight Department. Preferred experience as a Vessel Operator, Charterer or dealt with grains traders.Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to HOD [Freight]
• Assist the Division Head with chartering and other ad-hoc tasks.
• Secure optimal pricing and terms for voyage charters in drybulk market and collaborating with Group traders across Asia-Pacific.
• Oversee smooth execution of contracts and ensure adherence to FOB/CNF/CP terms.
• Prepare charter parties, riders, and addendums as needed.
• Manage laytime statements and settle demurrage/dispatch claims.
• Maintain accurate vessel information and correspondence for performance updates and invoicing.
• Resolve post-fixture and laytime disputes.
• Share technical expertise and mentor new team members in Singapore.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in shipping or bulk commodity trading (preferably grains) as a vessel operator, charterer, or dealt with grains traders
• diploma/degree in Maritime or trade-related.
• Strong understanding of voyage and time charter party contracts.
• Ability to resolve post-fixture and laytime disputes.
