- Responsible for helping the head chef in the smooth running of the kitchen’s daily operation
- Responsible for respective stations mis-en-place, smooth & efficient production
- Responsible for training and delegation of junior staff at respective stations
- Ensure that all recipes, food preparation, and presentations meet the company specifications and commitment to quality
- Ensure respective stations are orderly and clean
- Ensure recipes and portion servings are followed correctly
- Good knowledge of food handling, food preparation, and cooking procedures for a specific station
- Assist Head/Sous chef with weekly & monthly inventory checks
- Follow and maintain a safe, orderly, and sanitized kitchen
- Ensure the working and storage environment is safe, and hygiene meets the NEA standard
- Ensure the kitchen cleaning schedule is done it accordingly
- Communicating effectively with the team
- Assist in ordering and receiving deliveries
Qualifications
