Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and passionate CDP to join our team.
- Key Tasks
- Prepare, cook and present food as per restaurant standards
- Supervise Commis Chefs ensuring they are fully trained and understand their duties
- Ensure kitchen stock is rotated and controlled
- Order, check in delivered stock and ensure its safe storage
- Ensure the kitchen cleaning schedule is adhered to
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the menu and specials and be able to explain dish
- descriptions to front of house/ customer
- Ensure compliance to food safety and hygiene requirements
- Assist Head Chef in the development of menu items and specials
- Follow restaurant policies and procedures
- Adhoc duties as requested
