What the role is:Chef is required to provide hospitality service and food & beverage service to guests.What you will be working on:Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan daily menus, manage dietary requirements, purchase ingredients and prepare excellent cuisine for various events \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure high standard of hygiene in food preparation and cleanliness of the kitchen \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with butler teams as well as external caterers to ensure F&B is delivered efficiently at functions \xe2\x80\xa2 Arrange for equipment maintenance periodically \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle administrative work such as preparing claims for purchases, marketing logs and costing for menusWhat we are looking for:Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Singaporean only. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to prepare different types of cuisine, including local and western cuisine \xe2\x80\xa2 Passionate about culinary arts \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 2 years of working experience in Food and Beverage Service. \xe2\x80\xa2 Selected candidates will be offered a contract of 1 or 2 years in the first instance. \xe2\x80\xa2 For enquiries, please email to istana_recruitment@istana.gov.sg.About Istana:To support the constitutional, ceremonial and community roles of the President, and to uphold and maintain the dignity of the office of the President.
