Job Description


:

  • Work with the kitchen team to produce food for the unit to a high standard daily.
  • Ensure kitchen is supervised and managed efficiently and effectively to ensure total accountability for their productivity and efficiency
  • To assist the Chef with ordering and menu planning
  • Ensure that all the staff are well trained
  • To assist in any of the kitchens, this may require assistance within or outside normal working hours
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items
  • Clean food preparation areas as determined by company policy
  • Estimate expected food consumption and organizes preparation
  • Keep records and accounts of food purchases
  • Monitor supplies and re-order stock as needed
  • Manage and ensure kitchen food cost is in a healthy range
  • Minimize food wastage
Requirements:
  • Experience in western cuisine is preferred
  • At least 3 Year(s) of relevant working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • 5 days work week
