Our restaurant offers a range of Japanese cuisine, including Omakase (our chef’s special) with seasonal ingredients and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverage that goes with our food.

We are looking for a creative and motivated Chef to join our team! This position plays an integral role for creating and providing memorable customer experience and satisfaction. If you want to participate in creating delicious seasonal menus and meal designs, enjoy satisfying customer with your food creation, we would like to meet you.

Working Location : New Bridge Road Nearest MRT : Outram Park

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in managing the daily operations in the kitchen.
• Provide efficient, accurate preparation, cooking of food and dish plating for prompt customer delivery with the established SOP and restaurant’s service standard.
• Assist in reviewing kitchen inventory and work with company’s listed external supplier to place orders and schedule delivery.
• Assist the Head Chef in developing new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
• Estimate and prepare ingredients availability for daily operation.
• Regularly clean and sanitize of kitchen area, equipment and storage area.
• Responsible in general kitchen duties including dish washing duties and ensuring the cleanliness and proper storage of cookware, dishes and cutleries.
• Work with the Service Crew on customer feedback and responding to customer issues.
  

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of related working experience in the field of Japanese culinary.
• Possess a valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in preparing Omakase Menu will be an advantage.
• Able to speak and understand basic English.
• Teamwork-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays.
