Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Prepares main dishes, meats, salads, desserts and bakery goods, using ovens, stoves, and other kitchen equipment
. Performs a variety of tasks to prepare food to be cooked and served, including cleaning, chopping, weighing, and measuring ingredients.
Duties:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts;
Ensure that all food is of high quality and meets our standards;
Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency;
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen;
Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any issues to management;
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies;
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared and served in a timely manner;
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines;
Other job assigned.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cook/Chef; Prefer someone at least 3 years experience in a Chinese Restaurant before.
Able to cook and prepare China Theme dishes (Szechuan Dish);
Excellent culinary skills;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
Strong attention to detail;
Ability to follow recipes and cooking techniques;
Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines;
