Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to the restaurant's standards and recipes.
Ensure consistent food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation.
Plan menus and assist with new dish development when required.
Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking timing, and plating.
Monitor stock levels, assist in ordering ingredients, and ensure proper storage of supplies.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure hygiene and food safety standards are met (in accordance with SFA/MOH requirements).
Ensure proper usage and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff whenever necessary.
Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience working as a Chef or Cook in a commercial kitchen.
Good knowledge of food handling, safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift schedules when required.
