Job Description


:

  • Plan and prepare adequate quantities of food items for cooking according to recipes/menu
  • Cook Western meals or Asian meals.
  • Ensure compliance to food quality, food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Check the quality of raw and cooked food products.
  • In depth knowledge of menu and standard preparation of all items, recipes and restaurant menu
  • Observe and test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Ensure proper sanitization and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
  • Take own initiative to makes sure everything is in order or implement new dishes.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in similar role
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills,Fluent in English, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends & public holidays
  • Possess a well-groomed, clean and professional appearance
  • Valid Food and Beverage Safety and Hygiene certificate
  • Ability to work in teams and attention to detail
