Preparation of Tasty and Authentic North & South Indian To work with the kitchen team to produce food for the unit to a high standard daily. To ensure kitchen is supervised and managed efficiently and effectively to ensure total accountability for their productivity and efficiency To assist the Senior Executive Chef with ordering and menu planning Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure Knowledge of health and safety standards Handle the planning and development of menus and recipes Ensure that all areas of the kitchen are clean and sanitized including food processing equipment, cooking utensils and other light equipment. Cook and prepare assigned dishes for serving according to the menu (main and special/promotion dishes) Work well under pressure and have no qualms assuming additional responsibilities. Ensure prompt and speedy delivery of the ordersRequirements Experience in Catering food Previous traditional Indian Restaurant Experience Restaurant Industry Knowledge (South & North Indian) Extensive Food and Beverage Knowledge Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules as per manager's request, including weekends, holidays and overtime.
