Thong Thai Bistro is an established restaurant specialising in authentic Southern Thai cuisine made from fresh ingredients and traditional recipes. We are currently looking for an
experienced Thai Chef
who is passionate about creating flavourful, beautifully balanced Thai dishes and wants to grow with a dedicated and dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a full range of Thai dishes, including curries, stir-fries, seafood, and desserts, with authenticity and consistency.
Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, hygiene, and presentation meet high standards.
Work closely with the Head Chef and management to develop new menu items that blend creativity with traditional Thai flavours.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all food preparation areas in accordance with SFA and food safety regulations.
Supervise and train kitchen assistants to ensure smooth service and efficiency during busy hours.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Thai Chef in a restaurant or hotel environment.
Strong knowledge of Thai ingredients, herbs, and cooking techniques.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to flexible working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Creative, open-minded, and passionate about continuous improvement.
Thai nationals or individuals with strong knowledge of authentic Thai cuisine are preferred.
