Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate existing operational processes to identify areas for improvement, collect performance data and support digitalization initiatives.
Conduct risk assessments to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Research, design, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and workflow efficiency.
Oversee daily operations and maintenance of plant processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Plan and coordinate the setup and organization of process operations, including the introduction of new systems and procedures.
Investigate and resolve process-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Develop and implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and technical
documentation.
Manage project timelines, costs, and resources to achieve operational objectives.
Participate in Process Safety Management and Hazard and Operability studies.
Lead and coordinate activities related to plant shutdowns and major maintenance events.
Requirements:
Degree in Chemical Engineering with at least 1 year of experience in a process or manufacturing environment
Solid understanding of process optimization, safety management and relevant engineering standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and drive improvement initiatives
Team-oriented, proactive and adaptable to dynamic operational requirements
