WHAT YOU WILL DO
The role will be responsible for, but not limited to the activities below:
  • Perform analytical testing on incoming excipients.
  • Responsible for ensuring the analytical methods / specifications used are in accordance with requirements specified in our company Quality Standards, regulatory dossiers and pharmacopoeia.
  • Ensure tests assigned are performed in a timely manner in compliance to Standard Operating procedures with necessary laboratory safety precautions.
  • Manage the calibration, maintenance and qualification of laboratory equipment.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external service providers in carrying out calibration/maintenance of lab equipment and tools when necessary.
  • Carry out lab equipment calibration and proper documentation of all instruments in laboratories.
  • Conduct laboratory investigation on laboratory equipment failure.
  • Participate in analytical method verification and equipment qualifications when necessary.
  • Revise and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect the current practice and ensuring that the current level of standard are met.
  • Perform and maintain an acceptable level of good laboratory housekeeping.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Degree holder in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 2 years or more relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry are preferred.
  • Candidate with relevant GMP / Pharmaceutical lab experience such as chromatographic analysis (HPLC/GC) and Empower software are preferred.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment with high level of 'right first-time' and high integrity in lab testing.
  • Detail orientated, organized, neat in his/her work, good planning ability & high efficiency.
  • Good leadership skills, excellent working attitude and able to work well in teams.
