Roles & Responsibilities Rakkar Digital is a startup company backed by SCB 10X focusing in digital asset and blockchain space. We provide digital asset custody and related services to our clients across ASEAN. We are on a mission to enable our clients to securely store and easily access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. The team is growing fast. We are looking for strong talents to join us in multiple countries across the region. We’re looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with a strong cybersecurity background and hands-on experience. The successful candidate will build the security team, framework and procedures of the company. They will work with the leadership team to make sure the best, global practices are implemented and followed accordingly. This role reports directly to the CEO and sits in our Singapore office. Key Responsibilities:

• Security Operation

o Real-time analysis of immediate threats, triage when something goes wrong.
o Cyber risk & intelligence: Keeping abreast of developing security threats, and helping the board understanding potential security problems that might arise from acquisitions or other big business moves.
o Data loss, fraud prevention: making sure internal staff doesn’t misuse/steal data. o Building and performing BCP and DRP including drills.

• Security Architect

o Making sure infrastructure is designed the best security practices in mind.
o Identity and access management: Ensuring that only authorized people have access to restricted data and systems. • Program Management o Keeping ahead of security needs by implementing programs or projects that mitigate cyber risks. o Investigation & forensics: Determining what went wrong in a breach, dealing with those responsible if they’re internal, planning to avoid repeats of the same crisis and determining the cause of internal and external data breaches and instituting appropriate corrective actions.

• Governance

o Making sure all the above initiatives run smoothly and get the funding they need – and that corporate leadership understands their importance.
o Working with Rakkar business units to determine possible cyber risks and to build risk management processes. o Ensure Rakkar will work according to well known best practices and global standards, and to make sure it complies with cyber security related regulations. o Lead and maintain certification efforts (e.g. SOC2, ISO, CIS, Privacy, NIST, etc) o Responsible for maintaining third party risk management.
Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in cyber security in the financial institutions.
• Understanding cloud infrastructure, GCP, AWS, Azure, containers, serverless, SSDLC, andzero trust model, including hands-on capabilities.
• Advance understanding of security centric tech – e.g. coding practices, ethical hacking,intrusion, dedication and prevention technologies.
• A minimum of 6 years of managing a group of above than 10 security experts.
• Bachelor degree (preferring computer science). In addition, with some of the followingcertification: CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSEC, CCISO.
• Blockchain and crypto security experience is an advantage.
• Experience with creating KRI’s and periodically reporting to senior management.
• Experience working with regulatory entities.
• English language – full proficiency.
