- Chief People Officer On behalf of our client, a leading Financial Services and Real Estate business based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, we are looking for a Chief People Officer (CPO) w - Chief People Officer On behalf of our client, a leading Financial Services and Real Estate business based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia , we are looking for a Chief People Officer (CPO) who will be in charge of managing the strategy and processes related to building and retaining an exceptional team of professionals. The CPO will act as a senior advisor and consultant to the business, however, must be able to roll up their sleeves and execute solutions. Their job is to optimise people-centred activities such as hiring, training, professional development and performance management to ensure these efforts support the company's growth and bottom line. Working with the organisation to continue to develop a well-defined company culture is another key role of the CPO. In a dynamic business, though most of the culture is created early on by the Chairman and the founding team, it is the Chief People Officer's job to bring this culture to fruition through strategic 'storytelling.' This means ensuring that the company values are reinforced with every initiative and communication. While a stellar employee experience is paramount, providing an exciting, candidate-centric recruiting experience is vital as well. A good CPO serves as a company's culture advocate and brand builder to help attract the best and brightest talent to the organisation. The Head of HR&TA will be the conduit for delivering and directing intelligence to the executive management team. As a trusted advisor to business heads, a successful CPO will have the opportunity to extend his/her influence across the organisation. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes likely to have been gained over at least 15+ years prior relevant work experience: Knowledge of Asian real estate development, financial services and consumer services. Excellent qualitative skills and the ability to prepare well-edited, well-presented proposals and reports for the business such as Performance Analysis. Strong quantitative skills, an analytical mind and an ability to work with significant amounts of data, both numerical and qualitative. A strong degree of independence and self-motivation. Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills allowing immediate individual impact with senior board members. Networking skills, both internally within the client and externally in the market to help secure new talent. Strong track record of successfully delivered projects. Effective command of both English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) is necessary due to the need to communicate with Western and Chinese stakeholders. A strong academic background - this will typically be demonstrated by a degree and possibly a post-graduate qualification or, in the absence of this, demonstration of compelling alternative qualification or experience.
