Provide technical leadership and support for company's oil and gas development projects
Provide strategic oversight for drilling and exploration activities
Responsible for technical aspects of company's upstream business, including reserves certification, seismic acquisition programmes and data interpretation studies, identification and assessment of new leads and prospects, technical due diligence on existing fields and new or prospective opportunities, and evaluation of new venture and bidding opportunities
In charge of timely dissemination of the public announcements pertaining to drilling and reserves updates, exploration and production activity reports, qualified person and valuation reports, etc
Requirements:
Postgraduate degree in petroleum geology, geoscience or related discipline
Minimum 20 years' experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, with at least 10 years in a managerial role
Possess core technical skills, including data analysis, interpretation and integration, geological model development, hydrocarbon resources assessment, geological risk analysis, etc
Extensive hands-on experience leading multidisciplinary teams in all aspects of subsurface development and commercial disciplines within the energy sector
Frequent travelling to Myanmar
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Great teamwork and communication skills
