Job Description
Location: Islandwide (Fix Location)
- Plan and implement early childhood curriculum to meet the physical, emotional and social, intellectual needs of the children
- Provide activities, apparatus and equipment to support the various curriculum areas planned for the children
- Set-up a conducive, effective, and healthy learning environment for the children
- Provide a safe and clean learning environment for the care and development of the children in the centre
- Maintain good classroom management
- Supervise and manage the children during both indoors and outdoors activities
- Keep progress report and comprehensive portfolio of each child and provide input on the child\'s development
- Report suspected abuse case to the Supervisor
- Build good rapport with parents including maintain regular communication with parents via Parents\' Communication Book
- Build and maintain good rapport with colleagues and children
- Ensure compliance to audit, accreditation, licensure, requirements etc
- Assist the Centre to meet all applicable statutory licensing regulations
- Review and recommend improvement to work processes and procedures whenever necessary

- WSQ Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (PDECCE(CC))
- Advanced Diploma in Kindergarten Education - Teaching (ADKET)
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education -Teaching (DECCE-T)
