Work with the in-house copy team in developing campaigns for POP, promotional and brand marketing collaterals across print and digital projects, including: F&B, Hotel, Retail, Entertainment, Attractions, and Sales.
Work with the in-house copy team in translating and transcreating copy for a variety of touchpoints from website to social media, paid advertising and in room amenities.
Ensure the quality of all copywriting deliverables, and make sure it is consistent with the tone of the company and its brand.
Above all, you must have a passion not only for writing, but for delivering beyond the expectations of guests, customers, and stakeholders.
Job RequirementsEducation & Certification
Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication, Arts, Advertising or Marketing preferred.
Experience
Proficient in writing, editing, proofreading, transcreating and translating in Chinese for various marketing touchpoints, including print ads, videos, brochures, websites, social platforms (Eg. Facebook, IG, WeChat, Douyin, Xiaohongshu).
Able to interpret job briefs and create informative and original advertising copy.
Able to understand your audience and write in multiple voices and styles across multiple target markets.
You should have a keen eye for detail and a pride in submitting work to the highest quality. The ability to critically edit your own work is essential.
Able to manage time effectively while handling and prioritising multiple projects.
Able to respond to revisions and feedback promptly and accurately.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and produce quality work with tight deadlines.
Possess a positive attitude to problem solving, love a complicated challenge.
Able to work independently and in a team.
A strong sense of responsibility and willingness to work flexible hours to assist the design team at all stages of project development from conception and stakeholder feedback/revisions to final approval.
Editorial background or copywriting experience in an advertising agency will be an added advantage.
Competencies
Excellent command of written Chinese and fluent in English. Ability to read Traditional Chinese is a plus. Knowledge and understanding of the cultural and linguistic nuances in Greater China markets will be an advantage.
Strong transcreation and translation skills (English to Chinese and Chinese to English on occasions).
Able to work 8 hours a day (9am - 12pm and 1pm - 6pm), Mondays to Fridays, with a hybrid work arrangement (i.e. in office 2 - 3 days a week)
