She enriches children's learning through co-designing and implementing developmentally and culturally appropriate curricula, while effectively integrating innovative teaching and learning practices. She is also proactive and intentional in strengthening partnerships with families and the community, and co-designs collaborative efforts with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve this goal. As an experienced early childhood educator, the Preschool Teacher guides teachers in enhancing their practice. She engages in continuous learning and reflective practice. She also contributes to the Centre's culture of collaboration and collegiality. Job Scope Plan, implement, and review curriculum within framework of NEL Design optimal environment for holistic children development Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the physical, social, and emotional development of children Implement the Centre Curriculum and provide an optimal environment where children have the opportunity to develop their potential for intellectual, emotional, social, physical and spiritual growth. Be respectful of children and parents in the interest of establishing healthy and professional relationships Prepare materials and set up the classroom learning centres and displays Prepare bi-annual evaluation and related documentation for children portfolios Establish collaborative partnerships with parents for the children's development Attend all related meetings and participate in team planning sessions Requirements At least 2 year(s) of working experience with children aged 4-6 years is required for this position Recognized Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education Registered L2 teacher with ECDA Enjoy working with children and is passionate in educating young children Creative, energetic and dynamic Strong command of the English language Good interpersonal and communication skills Able to work well independently, as well as within a team Due to manpower quotas, we regret that only Singaporeans / PRs will be shortlisted
