Our facility in Singapore has key functions in research and development, procurement, sales and finance for our Lighting and Detection business lines, in addition to key functions related to our Optics Manufacturing capabilities.

This site produces optical lenses such as spherical, aspherical and plano optics, with large machine shop capabilities and expertise in optical coating and assembly. Our photonic products and solutions serve a wide range of markets and applications in the areas of medicine, life science, industrial manufacturing, defense, and aerospace, as well as research and development.

We are presently seeking an Senior CI Engineer that will identify gaps or opportunity by conducting opportunity walk, coordinating with cross functional team (Engineering, NPI, R&D & FPA) and tracking of projects for timely completion.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead and drive site-level operational excellence culture, initiative, and programs;
• Provide strong leadership to drive daily Kaizen, Blitzes and SGA, with respective functional teams to maintain and sustain improvements;
• Update and document Kaizen progress, project scorecards and CI notice board for customer visit/management review;
• Assist/participate in depth DMAIC analysis with project teams;
• Facilitate Lean Six Sigma training programs, including the creation of internal certification programs;
• Trainer of Lean Six Sigma tools with real-life applications;
• Assist in preparation of customer audits, yearly AOP with execution plans;
• Any ad hoc tasks as assigned by CI lead/manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering;
• At least 3 years relevant experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean or Six Sigma activities;
• Strong technical competencies in Project Management;
• Good understanding in Lean and Six Sigma programs;
• Strong interpersonal skills and good work attitude.
