Job Description

Our Bridge and Civil Structures engineering skills are well represented on several high-profile projects in Singapore and around the region, including the five North-South Corridor projects, High-Speed Rail in the UK, Jakarta MRT, and other large infrastructure projects.

You will be part of a dynamic team, working together within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the development of the business and its members. This role is office based however there will be a requirement to undertake site visits and attend client meetings, if necessary, subject to the prevailing government regulations amid the current outbreak.

The role is expected to:

• Be involved in the delivery of a wide range of engineering projects including deep excavations, MRT, and other civil infrastructure projects
• Produce documentation, including reports, engineering sketches, engineering calculations, technical specifications, and tender documentation
• Provide support for writing project proposals and business development
• Having an appreciation of the roles of fellow professionals on multidisciplinary projects and interfacing and coordinating with them appropriately
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge and appreciation of current technical standards and practices and take a ‘hands-on role in technical matters
• A role in driving digital strategy within civil and structural engineering

Candidate Specification
About You:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university (i.e., accredited by PEB)
• Aspirations to become Professional Engineer and/or Chartered (CEng).
• 3 to 4 years (fresh graduates will be considered for Graduate C&S Engineering post)
• Computer literate and familiar with digital technology, strong written and oral communication ability
• Knowledge of underground structures for transportation
• Familiar with RC concrete /Steel design/ Temp works design and hands-on experience with the latest design software packages (Robot /SAP 2000 /ETABs and Midas)
• Experienced in cut-and-cover structure design / parametric tools/coding skills and bridge design will be added advantage.
